How to Restore Saves

Fixing Character Save Corruption

1. Navigate to:

   ATLYSS_Data/profileCollections/Marioalexsan_AutoSaver/Characters/{CHARACTER_NAME}

   Replace {CHARACTER_NAME} with your character's name in ATLYSS.

2. Choose the latest backup (or any earlier version based on its timestamp).

3. Copy the backup to:

   ATLYSS_Data/profileCollections

4. Rename and replace the file as:

   atl_characterProfile_{X}

   Replace {X} with the slot number (0–5). For example:

   • _latest -> atl_characterProfile_0

Fixing Item Bank Corruption

1. Navigate to:

   ATLYSS_Data/profileCollections/Marioalexsan_AutoSaver/ItemBank/

2. Select the latest backup or an older version based on the timestamp.

3. Copy the relevant files into:

   ATLYSS_Data/profileCollections

4. Replace the default files accordingly:

   • itemBank_0 -> atl_itemBank
   • itemBank_1 -> atl_itemBank_01
   • itemBank_2 -> atl_itemBank_02

Example:

• ItemBank/_latest/itemBank_0 -> atl_itemBank (overwriting the corrupt file if necessary).
• ItemBank/_latest/itemBank_1 -> atl_itemBank_01.

1. Unique Character Names:

   AutoSaver assumes each character's name is unique. If multiple characters share the same name, their autosaves may overwrite each other.
